Creative applications for LED signs

Imagine going into a restaurant, being able to order your food from your table and without having to wait for a server. Even if your order is complicated, this self service process guarantees accuracy. Yes, this process involves the use of interactive LED displays on your tabletop! These new additions will be amazingly popular because customers can visualize their exact order. In addition to the restaurant industry, there are many other industries that can make use of this technology.

In the retail industry, these interactive LED screens can be used in the form of virtual dressing rooms in clothing stores. Customers can select a model similar to their body type and simply swipe to see how different clothing items look on the model. This gives them an idea of how the clothing will look on themselves. According to their preferences they make a selection and head towards check out. A sales associate will meet them there and assist them with their purchase.

In the hospitality industry, hotel rooms will soon be equipped with desks that can also serve as interactive table tops for guests to request room service, laundry services and so on. Information regarding surrounding restaurants and attractions will also be available so guests can make reservations from the comfort of their own hotel rooms. In this setup, advertising will play a key role.

Travel centers are already using giant LED signs with touch screens to serve as interactive brochures for tourists. At first sight they are presented with a map and a travel plan. From this they can select activities, attractions and hotels, make reservations and prepare a travel plan for their holiday. With real time integration, accurate travel times and prices are also provided to give tourists comprehensive package details.

As you can see, the possibilities are endless with this kind of incredible technology simply aimed at making people’s lives easier.
